Mr. Luong Van Trung is a founding member of Lexcomm Vietnam LLC and oversees Capital Markets, Fund Management, and Dispute Resolution services. In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Trung was named Asia’s Leading Lawyer in Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, and Dispute Resolution. He is also one of the seven co-founders of the VIArb Vietnam International Arbitration Institute.

Mr. Trung earned a law degree from Hanoi Law University and the British University of Law (a conversion program that enables him to practice law in England and Wales with subjects equivalent to a Bachelor of Laws).

With his diligent efforts, he has become a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association and the Vietnam Bar Federation, as well as an Arbitrator of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC). Mr. Trung is an independent member of the Fund Representative Board of two investment funds managed by MB Capital Fund Management Company: the MB Capital Value Investment Fund (MBVF) and the MB Capital Vietnam Bond Investment Fund (MBBF).

With many years of expertise, he has had several triumphs in practice, including consulting on significant projects and transactions. For four years, he worked for a top law firm in the United States and one in the Cayman Islands. In addition, he assisted Bitexco in the preparation of the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Expressway Project, which is anticipated to cost $780 million USD, as well as several other projects.
