LAWER NGUYEN TRUNG NAM
Mr. Nguyen Trung Nam is currently Deputy Director, Vietnam Mediation Center (VMC). This is the first mediation center in Vietnam to gather a team of leading mediators in the field of law and economy. He is one of the 7 brightest founders of the Vietnam Institute of International Arbitration (Viarb).
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Law from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (Hanoi) and continued to study for a Master of Laws with a major in International Commercial Law at the University of the West of England (UK). Along with his passion and diligence in his studies, he obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Libre de Bruxelles School. In addition, he also studied at BPP University (UK) with a Bachelor of Laws (UK), obtained the Certificate of International Arbitrator and International Mediator from the British Institute of Arbitration (CIArb). In addition to his law degrees, Trung Nam won the typical MBA award – Solvay School of Economics (2013) and the first prize of the 2001 Asian Assumption Trial contest and was a participant in the Clive M essay contest. After more than 20 years of research and work, lawyer Trung Nam has contributed more than 12 scientific research papers and valuable lectures and speeches in the field of Commercial Law and Commercial Arbitration in Vietnam. In addition, he is also the Founding Lawyer of EPLegal Law Firm – the first Vietnamese law firm specializing in the oil and gas sector with leading legal activities to support the needs of clients for law firms.
